First, we decided on the day we will meet up and look at the assignment together. Then e read through the work when we met on the day that we had decided on. I did not have a blog and my partner had, so we decided to first create blogs for each of us. It was rather hard for me to choose the web server to use as I had to try all that I had found online like geocities and brave host, word press but it was rather tasking for me not until I used brave host that I got peace at heart. After creating the blogs, we decided that my partner, since his a computing student, it was better if he did the coding of the html tags but I still had to be there to work together correct him incase of any mistakes but most of learn from him. We worked together. I downloaded the images, decided on the color, fonts to be used, what to call our page name among others. He put up the html codes and everything to do with the coding.
During this assignment, I learned a lot especially on how to use a blog or rather own a blog. I also learned the coding of fonts and color which I did not know before this assignment. I used my blog and lately I have added it on one of the things I treasure in my life. The blog is very useful because you can use it for friends and family to know more about you. It’s like your journal about your life, what you believe and others. The experience in coding html codes was also not as friendly at first as they were so tasking , for example if you forget to add close tags you would receive a wrong coding so making it very tasking and time consuming but with more concentration we achieved it. Uploading files to the web server became much easier after choosing the appropriate web hosting which was brave host.
All in all I believe I have learnt a lot especially with the use of blog and owning one I used to believe blogs were just a luxury not until I owned one. If I were to do this assignment again it would take me less than 5 minutes. I can do far much better than before. Thank you so much Ms Shahrinaz for the great work.
